It is a periodic comedy-drama of evolution, a movie of progress, and a reminder that however small a narrative one holds in the cycle of growth, they still are and will always be part of that cycle. It is not easy to adapt to change but it is smart to adapt to change. Most absurd and horrific scenes were justified with the subtle timeline of the movie. The plot, the writing, and the title couldn't be more apt but the 20s fashion styling was the cherry on top. And the ending is an absolute delight to watch.
I am a fan of Diego Calva and Margot Robbie.
Cinephiles interested in the history of the movie business should definitely watch it but enjoy the roller coaster while intercepting the timeline otherwise, the absurdity of extremism will kill the mood.
And my favorite quote is "Honey, you don't become a star. You either are one or you ain't. I am."
